Small detail but 203 overmatches Atlanta's 13mm.but 305 will overmatch 16mm as well so RN CLs are at risk too.Īt T8, being top tier will be less than 20% of time treat (opposed to being bottom more than twice the time) but can only imagine the misery of cruisers like Leander or Dallas trying to deal with Congress.which I assume also inherits the nutty autobounce angles of Alaska.except at tier 6 most of the cruisers have thin enough armor that this trait will work that much better. The general principle is “players will not lose anything”. You don’t overmatch DD/super light cruiser/RN CL plating, but as far as t8 only goes: you still have HE for destroyers, you can’t see any super light cruisers yet anyway, and there’s very little chance you’ll see an Edin anyway. I could see some people trying it in a t8 only mode like Ranked, but even then I’d rather have Balti for the better reload and smaller target. And against t6 targets, it can be a big threat. The only potential benefit it has is it can see t6 ships. Tier for tier Alaska is much better than Congress. Premium status for both commander use and economy ![]() A heal at t8, which many cruisers there do not have (although you only get 3 charges? 305mm guns at t8 which overmatch DD and super light cruiser plating (Atlanta, etc) and RN CL plating What does Congress offer that Balti doesn’t?
